A School Holiday Challenge

Create your Very Own Wildlife Friendly Garden.

The summer holidays are creeping up and we know just how much the kids look forward to that final day of school and weeks away from the classroom. We also know it's not long till they're saying "Mum I'm bored, there's nothing to do". So with a bit of advice from Dorset Wildlife Trust, we have come up with a great idea to give them lots of fun and also a bit of learning at the same time with our August 'Create a Wildlife Garden' challenge.

Each week in August we will help you create a real wildlife garden with our free weekly advice sheets. These give you advice on the ideal plants for all types of wildlife, plus information on how to create garden homes for hedgehogs, frogs and bees. Also creating feeders, what to feed birds, how to create a butterfly table and even build a mini pond.
