Kadai barbeque fire bowls are a handmade, stylish feature in any type of garden. Traditionally crafted so they have strength and durability they are made with many of the features, like the sturdy drop handles, that the original Kadai bowls have. These wonderful bowls have been used for cooking for over 100 years at celebrations and weddings in India.They come with a low and high stand so that you can get the most out of your Kadai for years to come. The high stand is the perfect height for barbequing and cooking and the low stand for sitting round the fire and relaxing with friends as the evening cools. Actually summer or winter there is no limitation to the Kadai’s uses, in summer use them also as giant ice buckets to cool wine & beers and in winter make delicious warming mulled wine in them.
They come in 3 useful sizes:
- 60cm for 2 – 4 people
- 70cm for 4 - 8 people
- 80cm for 8 or more
However, you don’t always have to use the whole Kadai which is perfect if you are using a larger Kadai for a smaller number of people. Simply use charcoal across one- half.
Each handcrafted Kadai firebowl also comes with a grill, tongs and wire brush and the attractive drop handles that allow the Kadai to be easily moved when not in use and are fitted with a unique, registered design, filter system that enables you to leave your bowl outside all year.
The accessories available such as the paella pan, skewers and rack, roasting pan, swing grill, that's great for keeping food warm, skillets & tongs and chapati pan all allow you to personalise your Kadai to suit your taste.
