We've been busy at Big & Little Groves and its something you could try at home over the school holidays as well
As part of our August WildLife Friendly Garden Challenge the teams at Groves in Bridport and Little Groves in Beaminster have been very creative and built some highly desirable residences for local wildlife including an insect hotel, a frog chalet and hedgehog house to inspire you to build your own. We think they're pretty awesome, come and have a look.
All this month we'll have a different flyer each week with projects for you to do to create and attract pollinators, frogs, hedgehogs and insects to your gardens. By giving them safe havens and pollen to feed on they'll take up residence and call it home.
You can pick up a flyer at either Big or Little Groves and make sure you ask either of them for any advice you need to help you create your very own wildlife sanctuary. Good luck.
