This year the Ivy House Kitchen is delighted to be running a series of Master Classes in conjunction with Bridport's Master Mixoligist Lloyd Brown owner of the Grey Bear Drinks Co.
On the first Saturday of each month we will be introducing you to some fantastic local food and drink suppliers and Lloyd will be able to show you which drinks are perfect for setting off that particular specialty.
April 6th 7pm- The Pursuit of Beertails
Join Al owner of The Pursuit of Hoppiness and Lloyd Dorset drink ambassador alongside some local brewers mixing up the best beers, ales and bitters in a new way, combining into cocktails and elevating both sides of drink.
May 4th 7pm- Aperitvo night with Mercato Italiano
Join Lloyd and owner of Mercato Italiano Illaria Padovi on a night of all things Italian, snack on hand selected meats and cheese whilst sipping on classic aperitifs, the Negroni, Aperol spritz and more!
June 1st 7pm- Baboo Gelato and Lloyd Brown cocktail evening
How do you take your gelato? Mixed up with local spirits of course! A quirky night where you can learn how everyone's favourite local gelato, Baboo is made alongside some unusual but delicious cocktail creations.
July 6th 7pm- Tiki cocktails and BBQ night
When Sam Hill owner of Hungry Mule fires up the BBQ there is only one thing missing! Cocktails! Come try tiki cocktails (think Del boy) made with local ingredients and a pyro twist – BBQ Pina Colada anyone?
August 3rd 7pm- Coffee and Cocktails with the Dark Bear and Full Circle Coffee company.
Fueled by caffeine this night blends expertly roasted coffee from our supplier, Full Circle, with the coffee concoctions from the Dark Bear bar, expect espresso martinis, turbo G&T’s and the modern classic cocktail "The Inoculation" alongside tasters of Conker Cold Brew coffee and local vodkas.
