Say thanks to mum this Mother’s Day with a special
celebration at Ivy House Kitchen. Our chef Phil has put together a delicious
three course lunch that will be a real treat. Start off with ‘honey roast
carrot and parsnip soup’, which if you have tried any soups at Ivy House before
you will know how superb our soups are. For main mum can enjoy a traditional
Sunday roast (beef or pork) with all the trimmings. We are also serving a delicious
sea bass on a sun blush tomato mash, stem broccoli and lemon and chive cream.
For something sweet there’s a traditional warm apple & rhubarb crumble with
and oat & walnut topping with custard. All homemade and made from scratch for
mum to enjoy. We also offering a lemon curd & berry cheesecake with Baboo
vanilla ice cream.
If you have plans for lunch, perhaps take mum out for
breakfast? Creamy smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on a malted bloomer with
chopped chives from our kitchen garden.
Or push the boat out with heart-shaped buttermilk pancakes garnished with strawberry and chocolate sauce. So many delicious treats on offer this Mother's Day mum will be sure to feel special.
