This year we are celebrating our 150th anniversary. It all began in 1866 in the small Dorset village of Piddletrenthide when the Great, Great, Great, Grandfather of the current MD, Charles William Groves started selling seeds via hawkers and in the post.
You can read more about our history here but in the mean time we have created an old style shop right in the entrance to our garden centre. Most of the items are the genuine thing that we have held onto since they were in use. Come along and see how we think Mr Groves would have set up his shop all of those years ago!
Anyway, we will be putting on events all year long to celebrate our birthday. From gnome hunts to ukulele bands make sure you like our Facebook page so that you can stay up to date will all the events taking place.
