Height/spread: In 10 years approx 8 x 4ft.

Flowers: Small yellow-green flowers in the spring and summer

Sun/shade: Prefers sun but can be grown in shade. Does not like an exposed/windy site.

Soil: Well drained, ferile soil. Needs shelter from the worst winter weather.

Harvesting: Hardy to -5c. Evergreen herb, leaves can be picked all year.

Cooking uses: Great all year herb. Distinctive flavoured leaves used for soups, stocks,stews and flavoured oils and vinegars.
