There is nothing better than using your own home grown herbs in your cooking to add that extra bit of flavour.
Caraway leaves are used as a garnish or a tasty salad addition. The seeds, which are often roasted, are used in bread and cake mixtures and added to casseroles. They are very similar to fennel seeds in that they taste of aniseed and because their taste is so alike, they are often mistaken for one another. The height grows to about 60cm (24").
