A compact clematis with a scrambling habit. The white flowers bloom in early spring contrasted against the deeply divided dark green evergreen foliage.
Soil: Requires a moisture retentive soil with good drainage. Can be container grown or left to scramble in an alpine or rockery garden.
Site: Suitable for sun or partial shade. Plant in a sheltered site.
Best grown against a southwest wall to protect early buds from frost damage.
