This deciduous honeysuckle has fragrant pale flowers that age yellow, often followed by red berries in the autumn. It has a long flowering period from May to September. A tough and vigorous climber.
Soil: Grows well in most soil types.
Site: Sun or partial shade. Fully hardy.
Pruning: In first or second year of growth prune back to about 1 metre in February to encourage branching. In subsequent years prune in February, removing any dead wood and prune out some growth lower down to encourage new stems.
