Aronia arbutifolia ’Brilliant’

Also known as Red Chokeberries. Deciduous shrub has abundant clusters of red berries in late summer with the bonus of bright red leaves in autumn. The flowers are rich in nectar, so great for early butterflies & pollinators. Makes a bushy plant, prune to keep compact. Full sun to part shade. Tolerates a wide range of soils, including boggy or dry. Classed as a 'super berry' high antioxidants, and makes tasty jellies and jams.  Very hardy. Height: upto 1.8m (6ft) spread: 1.5m (5ft).
