Please note that this plant will be in the process of dying back for winter, but will reshoot in the spring.

Height/spread: 60cm

Flowers: Light purple flowers

Sun/shade: Grow in sun or partial shade.

Maintenance: Hardy plant that dies back each winter. Divide regularly.  

Soil: Prefers a moist, rich soil.

Harvesting: Pick young leaves and flowers as needed. 

Cooking uses:  A fruity mint that is great with salads and summer drinks. The pretty purple flowers are edible. Can also be used in flavoured oils.
