Plant Guarantee
Plants are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to have been producing quality plants since 1866 and think it is important that this quality is continued.
We grow loads of our own plants on our own two nurseries in Bridport and Beaminster and when we do buy in we will only buy from reputable suppliers.
Our trained team of horticulturalists are always on hand to give you expert advice to help you choose the best plants for your garden and the best advice to give you every chance of success.
In fact, we are so confident of the quality of our plants we will guarantee all of our pot-grown, hardy plants for 2 years after purchase.
All we ask is:
- That the plants receive reasonable and appropriate care including watering, feeding, following the care instructions given.
- That you keep your receipt, the plant and its original variety label and bring them into us within 2 years of purchase if there is a problem.
- That you let us know about any problems you are having with your plant as soon as they arise, so that we may help you overcome any avoidable deaths.
- If you are not happy with the health of the plant at the point of purchase please let us know.
If a plant does die then we will happily refund or replace the plant with a similar size and value (to match the plant at its size/price when it was sold to you).
We cannot be held responsible for any failure of plants in abnormal weather conditions, contraction of pests or disease after purchase, or for damage sustained during building works or other incidents.
This guarantee only covers fully hardy, pot-grown plants such as shrubs, trees, roses, conifers, perennials, soft fruit, etc and does not include tender bedding, half hardy plants, annual plants, or houseplants.
