Medium, double blooms are carried in trusses on a bushy, neat plant with glossy green foliage. The petals are blotched with purple and mauve & are silver on the underside. Scented. Repeat flowering. Height: 1m(3ft). Spread: 75cm (30"). Grow in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun - tolerates almost any soil.

For best flowering mulch in winter & feed with a balanced fertilizer in spring & summer. Dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. Prune in late winter (Feb).

Add 'Rootgrow' to the roots to give them a good start. To combat fungal diseases regular spraying is needed. Good level of disease resistance. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
