Very prolific red-black fruits twice as large as blackcurrants. Crops from July. Thornless & resistant to mildew. Plant 1.2m (4ft) apart. Jostaberries don't need a support. Fruit tends to occur on the second years growth, so prune the fruited wood down to ground level after harvesting, leaving the young wood to ripen for next year's crop. Fully Hardy.
