Redcurrant Jonkheer Van Tets

This Redcurrant is one of the earliest varieties to ripen, bearing heavy crops of sweet-tasting fruit from early July. Dig in plenty of organic matter (garden compost or well-rotted manure), before planting. Grow in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered site. Mulch every spring & feed during growing season. Self fertile.

Height: 1.8m (6ft) spread: 1.5m (5ft). Prune when required to maintain shape and vigour. Can grow as a cordon for easier picking.  RHS Award of Garden Merit.
