Redcurrant Junifer is a high yielding variety from France. Easily picked, high quality fruit. Crops on both one and two year wood giving good yields immediately after planting.
The earliest variety available with mouth-watering fruit ready to pick from early July onwards. The plants crop on new and one year old wood so you should be able to pick some fruit in their first season. Ideal for deep freezing. Plants supplied will be healthy one year olds.
Junifer is a relatively new, very early ripening redcurrant. Produces very heavy crops of high quality berries on long strigs. Good disease resistance. Best for pies, jams and jellies.
