Position: Sun or partial shade
Soil: Moist, deep soil
Maintenance: Remove flowers to promote further leaf growth
Harvesting: Hardy perennial that dies back in winter. Pick leaves through the growing season
Cooking uses: Superb when used to flavour meats (mint sauce) vegetables especially new potatoes, salads & jellies.
Medicinal uses: Thought to relieve indigestion, nausea, wind and diarrhoea.
