Description
Martagon lilies like a well-drained, moisture retentive soil with a good supply of humus. They like sun or partial shade in a sheltered area to protect from strong winds.
Martagon lilies are great in beds and borders and wild gardens.
If planting in containers, plant deeply and keep well watered. After flowering allow the foliage to die back naturally, do not cut the stems back until they are hollow and brown.
