Chardonnay is probably the best known white wine grape in the world today used in the production of some of the finest Burgundies and Champagnes. Slow to establish sometimes it will grow to be a very vigorous and healthy vine producing masses of gorgeously sweet golden grapes that are also ideal for dessert uses.
