Copper Beech Bare Root Hedging

Fagus sylvatica Purpurea/ Grow in moist , but well drained soil. Tolerates chalk well. Full sun or partial shade. 

This deciduous tree has shiny purple leaves which turn coppery in autumn. It makes a great hedge as it will keep its older leaves until the spring when new leaves emerge. 

Plant out: 45cm (18") apart 

Maintenance:  Trim beech in late summer. The new late summer growth provides screening during the winter months.
